Balsam Lake Hardware & Rental by Ace, previously known as Hardware Hank, is celebrating a three-day grand-opening this weekend.
America’s most celebrated “helpful place” is celebrating a grand opening April 14-16 at its Balsam Lake, WI store. Balsam Lake Hardware & Rental, located at 907 Frontage Rd, brings the company’s unique blend of personal, knowledgeable and helpful service, paired with quality home maintenance expertise and products, to Balsam Lake residents.

During the three-day event, customers can come in to enjoy the chance to win a variety of giveaways and take advantage of exclusive sales and offers. On Friday, the store will be giving away a Milwaukee M18 FUEL 18 V Cordless Brushless 2 Tool Combo Kit, valued at $399.00. On Saturday, there will be a Weber Genesis II E-310 Gas Grill giveaway, valued at $599.00, and on Sunday, customers can enter to win a Yeti Charcoal Roadie cooler, valued at $250.00.
Exclusive offers during the weekend include $5 off any purchase of $25 or more of regular-priced merchandise on Friday, a free Ace Reusable Bag given to the first 200 customers plus 20% off everything that fits into the bag on Saturday, and 50% off any one regular-priced item under $30 all day on Sunday.
The store will be having special events each day in celebration of the grand opening. On Friday, there will be a Stihl Demo and a Costa Sunglasses Rep on-site 11:00am - 4:00pm, Swanks Meats Brats grilled on a Weber 11:00am - 2:00pm, and Balsam Lake Brewery Beer available 3:00pm - close. On Saturday, from 10:00 - 3:00pm there will be a Milwaukee Rep on-site with the Ace Packout Trailer, a Costa Sunglasses Rep on-site, Hatsan and Outdoor Edge brand demos, and a Stihl Demo. Food on Saturday includes a Blackstone breakfast 8:00am - 10:00am, Van Meter Meats Brats grilled on a Weber 11:00am - 2:00pm, and Balsam Lake Brewery Beer available 3:00pm - close. On Sunday, there will be another Blackstone breakfast available 9:00am - 11:00am. All weekend long there will be Big Green Egg and Traeger appetizers served, along with soda, water, and snacks.
