Bristol, VA, Sept. 14, 2022 -- Curt's Ace Hardware is celebrating its grand opening with a special event three-day event from Wednesday, Sept. 14, through Saturday, Sept. 17.
Curt's Ace Hardware first opened its doors on July 20 and is Food City's first Ace Hardware location. Curt's Ace Hardware brings the company’s unique blend of personal, knowledgeable and helpful service, paired with quality home maintenance expertise and products, to Bristol residents. The store is located at 1247 Old Euclid Center in Bristol, Virginia, and standard hours of operation are Monday to Saturday, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Sunday, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
"Hey Bristol! Your new Curt's Ace Hardware is now open. Come by The Helpful Place and find the best brands and everything you need for your everyday home project," Curt's Ace Hardware posted on Facebook.
Customers can come in to take advantage of special offers and sales including 50% off one item under $50 on Wednesday and $5 off any purchase of $25 or more on Friday. On Saturday, customers will receive a free Ace bucket, plus 20% off whatever fits into the bucket.
Visitors can also enter a drawing for a chance to win a variety of prizes, including an Ego Power Plus Straight Shaft Battery String Trimmer valued at $249, a Paint-a-Room Makeover valued at $125, a Weber Spirit II E-210 gas grill valued at $459 or a Milwaukee drill and driver set valued at $399.
Curt's Ace Hardware is the first store of multiple stores planned in the Tri-Cities area by Food City. Other locations in Piney Flats, Erwin, Elizabethton and Abingdon are planned, according to a release from Food City officials.
