Monticello, IN, August, 2022 – Monticello Ace Hardware will host a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 10 a.m. Friday, Aug. 26, as part of its grand reopening event.
"Friday is a big day at Monticello Ace Hardware," the store said in an Aug. 23 Facebook post. "We will have our grand reopening ribbon-cutting ceremony at 10 a.m. Then starting at 11 a.m., Greens & Beans LLC, Kona Ice and Streamline BBQ will be here serving up their items in our parking lot. Stop by to enjoy their delicious options and join us inside for major savings."
Monticello Ace Hardware is located at 918 North Main Street and is owned by Brad and Shari Moore. It first opened in 1989 in a small Indiana town known for its two lakes and local amusement park, Indiana Beach.
"We have a full line of insect-control products, lawn seed and outdoor cooking items and grills," the store said on its website. "We also have a top-of-the-line paint department that offers Magnolia, Clark + Kensington, Benjamin Moore and Ace Royal products, as well as knowledgeable advice. In the spring, we offer a beautiful selection of plastic Adirondack chairs and an assortment of pots to plant your flowers. Our selection of annual and perennial flowers and plants is sure to please any avid gardener."
Customers will be able to stop by all weekend for chances to win giveaways, including a Paint-a-Room makeover worth $125, an Ego Power Plus Straight Shaft Battery String Trimmer worth $250, a Weber Spirit II E-210 Gas Grill valued at $459, and a Milwaukee Drill and Driver set valued at $399.
Monticello Ace Hardware is also offering $5 off a gallon of paint and will be hosting a grilling demo for the local community.
The store is open daily from Monday through Saturday, 7:30 a.m. to 8 p.m., and Sunday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
