Bristol, Va., Aug. 8, 2022 – Curt's Ace Hardware opened at 1247 Old Euclid Center in Bristol, Va., on July 20 as part of Food City's first Ace Hardware, and its first hardware store of any kind.
Curt's Ace Hardware is the first of a series of stores to be opened in the Tri-Cities area by Food City as part of its venture into the hardware sector. Other locations are later planned to open in Piney Flats, Erwin, Elizabethton and Abingdon which were evaluated in earlier this past Spring by Food City, according to a release from Food City officials.
“We greatly appreciate the support that our loyal customers have shown us, and we want to leverage our Curt’s Ace Hardware brand to better serve the communities where we already do business,” Steven C. Smith, Food City president and chief executive officer, said in the Food City statement about the partnership with Ace Hardware.
Curt's is open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on weekdays and Saturdays and from 11 a.m. until 5 p.m. on Sundays.
Beginning Wednesday, Aug. 10, through Tuesday, Sept. 6, customers can receive $5 off their next purchase of $25 or more.
Curt's Ace Hardware will offer Bristol customers specialty services including delivery and assembly, color paint matching, glass and key cutting and propane exchange. The store has been designed to reflect the needs of Bristol and the local community and will include solutions to everyday home maintenance needs, as well as an extensive array of high-quality products customers have come to expect from Ace in categories such as paint, lawn and garden.
The store is packed with thousands of essential products and supplies, including some of the most respected brand names and best-selling items to help people take care of their homes. Key store focuses and product offerings include hardware, electrical and plumbing; as well as niche products such as Craftsman, Dewalt, Scotts, Weber, Benjamin Moore, Clark+Kensington, Toro and Yeti.
