East Salem Ace Hardware will hold a grand opening celebration Saturday, featuring sales and a raffle for prizes.
The East Salem Ace Hardware store, located at 3344 Lancaster Drive NE in Salem, Oregon, is operated by owners Jeremy and Heidi Mackay and offers its products and home maintenance services to local residents. Standard store hours of operation are Monday through Saturday, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., and Sunday 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Prior to the grand opening celebration this weekend, East Salem Ace Hardware held a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Wednesday. Starting Friday, customers can donate $5 to the local Children's Miracle Network Hospital to receive a six-gallon bucket along with 20% off almost anything they can fit in that bucket.
"We are excited to announce our grand opening event! On Aug. 6 get prepared to see the best of what East Salem Ace has to offer. We hope to see you there!" a July 19 Facebook post by East Salem Ace Hardware stated. "Stay tuned for more updates while the party grows!"
To celebrate its grand opening, East Salem Ace Hardware will be offering storewide sales on a variety of items on Saturday. Customers can enter a raffle to have a chance to win four prizes, including a Paint A Room Makeover bundle valued at $125, a Weber Spirit II E-210 gas grill valued at $459, a Milwaukee Drill and Driver Set valued at $399 or an Ego Power Plus Straight Shaft Battery String Trimmer valued at $250.
“Our mission is to provide customers with the neighborly advice and assistance they have come to expect from Ace,” Ace Hardware officials said, according to a press release. “We look forward to becoming a helpful and valuable neighbor to the community, both inside and outside the walls of our store.”
