Chicago-area paint buyers are shifting to warmer neutrals, layering of white paint colors, and deep blues and greens.
That’s according to Ace Hardware’s Regional Paint Preference Survey (ARPPS) on paint purchases for the first quarter of 2022. It tracks consumer preferences and ranks top colors for buyers over the period.
The neutrals range from soft greige, with Balboa Mist OC-27 and Edgecomb Gray HC-173, to mid-tone tans such as Shaker Beige HC-45.
Other popular colors include whites, White Dove OC-17 and Chantilly Lace OC-65, Hale Navy HC-154 and Narragansett Green HC-157.
